Two friends pedal across the U.S. to raise awareness of suicide
We spent some time recently with Thomas Brown and Zachary Chipps, both of whom lost older brothers to suicide and who created their seven-month, 110-city bike tour as a way of sharing their own experience and philosophy about suicide and its prevention. They advocate the healing power of art and the understanding that it isn't necessary to conform to the expectations of the voice of "Mother Culture"(as defined by Ishmael.) You can follow Thomas and Zachary on their journey by way of their website, RISE Phoenix.
